Global Blog Tour

Matt Cordell was kind enough to 'tag' me in a blog tour for illustrators. Matt's art is awesome, which is why I'm doing it. Otherwise I'd stay on the sofa with my donuts.

The way it works is, Matt gave me some questions to answer, that I will completely ignore, and then tag another illustrator.

Here we go...

What is the working title of your next book?

My titles don’t work, mostly because they never get paid. They are a bit lazy, actually. Luckily, the next title I’m assisting in is by Greg Trine. It ‘s the third book in a series about Jo Schmo, a girl superhero. The title of that book is Shifty Business. That title works hard too. Did about 100 push-ups yesterday.

Jo turns into a bunch of weird freaky things and solves crime while doing it. Told you this title works hard.

What genre does your book fall under?

Superhero girl.

What is the one sentence synopsis of your book?

Superhero girl saves San Francisco from dumb criminals. Really dumb. One guys is named Numbskull.

Who is publishing your book?

The book is published by Harpercollins.

What else about the book might pique the reader’s interest?

There’s G rated romance, of a sort. And a DROOLING DOG.

Now for some unscripted questions.

Paper or plastic?

Neither. Pen and ink.

Who would you like to play you in a tv documentary about your amazing life?

Danny Devito.

What magazines do you subscribe to?

The ones I can erase the eyes out of the photographs and draw in my own.

Any hobbies?

Amateur mummification expert. Ask my kids.

And now, with limited interruption, about 2 days, I give you.......Ben Clanton!

Ben will post in Monday or Tuesday, so don't hassle him! Enjoy his amazing art, and thanks for watching.
